A part of my chosen metier in life involves聽the聽delightful pursuit of creative and inspiring聽photographers and the images that they create. I cannot express how thrilling it can be聽to come across聽a portfolio that is original and draws in the eye in to relish the images. Here is聽a photographer triptych that showcases an聽inspiring and creative聽vision.
Dina Belenko

Dina is a conceptual still life photographer and聽visualises the animate聽within the inanimate. She likes to tell creative stories with her chosen objects聽exploring themes and topics聽like alchemy, geometry, chaos and motion. Her lively frames聽聽burst with colour, form聽and endless imagination. She聽hails from Russia and聽some of her work聽reflects the idea of Suprematism, 聽a non representational style of art developed in Russia in the early 20th century and is聽characterized by severely simple geometric shapes. I must admit had to look this one up! For me though this is another joyful aspect of finding new photographers and tapping into their vision and what influences their work.

Luc Kordas

I met Luc at the 聽in New York and was immediately wowed by his portfolio. My聽immediate thought was the aptness of his work for book covers . He creates portraiture聽but聽it’s no ordinary portraiture, weaving a fantasy聽narrative into his work which is quite mesmerizing. One particular series which I almost inelegantly drooled over was his Fairy Tales series which spins a fine visual tale. His poetic sensibilities are also prevalent in his landscape, travel and street photography giving a pleasing cohesiveness to his work. Luc’s聽work has been described as dark, nostalgic, melancholic and mysterious. 聽He is as accomplished using聽black and white medium as in color and has been highlighted in a number of art magazines.

Michael Brian

I was looking to sign up a few animal photographers particularly images of domestic animals and I came across the website of聽,聽a photographer based in Los Angeles. His particular niche聽is dogs and his work brilliantly documents the聽increasing existence of dog culture in our society. What drew me to his work was the way he captures the barometer of emotions and moods in the canine persona. As with lifestyle聽photography,聽what is often more interesting聽are the nuances of the human emotion and the in between聽of聽deliriously happy or聽sad. As he relates in his website, he refers to his work as a photographer as a聽“platform to raise the global awareness of society to the magic dogs possess thru visual imagery. They have a message to deliver, and I take it upon myself to be the messenger”.
